Simon Pure Development is licensed as a General Contractor in the State of North Carolina, and we carry General Liability and Workers Compensation insurance. Simon Pure specializes in, but does not limit itself to, classic renovation of older and historic homes, with special attention to historic detail. We take pride in our ability to seamlessly integrate new construction into existing designs. The company undertakes work both for itself (we purchase suitable properties and renovate for the market), or as custom builders for clients who wish to undertake a turnkey renovation of their existing homes or undertake additions and/or substantial kitchen and bathroom renovations. In addition to the construction, Simon Pure offers project design as well as interior design services. Each and every project undertaken is done so to the highest possible standards. Simon Pure focuses on cost and schedule control, and makes great efforts to establish and meet the budget and to deliver on time. In the past few months we have completed a major addition, 4 high quality, fully finished screened in porches with decks, and several historic renovations. We are currently working on a complete kitchen renovation with attached deck and screened in porch, a renewal of a turn-of-the-century "black-and-white" bathroom, and a whole-house renovation with addition of a large deck and screened in porch. We intentionally remain small in size so that we can pay personal attention to each and every project. Due to the way in which we are organized and operate, we regret that we are unable to accept small jobs or those that do not include extensive remodeling -- we generally become involved only in complex projects that typically include kitchens, bathrooms, sizable additions or large scale remodels. In North Carolina, any project valued at more than $30,000 requires a Licensed General Contractor, and most of our projects are in this category.
